Jugadoras: Pueden participar cualquier jugador de nacionalidad latinoamericana respaldado por su asociación respectiva. Deberá ser menor a 18 años el 1 de octubre del 2022. No hay restricción por nivel.

Premios a los primeros puestos:

• 1er puesto: usd$600
• 2do puesto: usd$300
• 3er puesto: usd$100

Los premios están destinados a cubrir los costos de transporte para llegar al Congreso. Si el monto del mismo es menor para cualquier puesto, entonces el resto se destinará al siguiente clasificado, que de ser el caso, lo sumará al monto que ya correspondía a su puesto (en todos los puestos el monto total máximo a recibir es de usd$600).
Los premios de pasajes en el congreso no son acumulativos. Si alguien tiene una bonificación por otro torneo no podrá sumar el juvenil a esa bonificación.

Modalidad:

• Sistema suizo a 4 rondas. Clasificación final por cantidad de victorias, desempate primero por SOS y luego por SOSOS.
• En caso de finalizar el torneo con dos jugadores invictos con 4 victorias, se jugará una partida de desempate entre los dos jugadores para definir el primer puesto, en fecha a definir entre los jugadores, con plazo máximo hasta el próximo domingo 4 de septiembre.
• Reglas: japonesas
• Tiempo: 15 min + 5 x 30 seg
• Hándicap: sin hándicap.
• Komi: 6,5 para blancas.
• Color: determinado en los emparejamientos
• Tablero: 19 x 19

IMPORTANTE:

• CONTROL DE CÁMARAS: OBLIGATORIO.
  Los jugadores deberán estar conectados con video a una reunión Google Meet durante las partidas filmándose desde un celular, webcam o laptop que permita visualizar tanto a la jugadora como la pantalla de la computadora en la que se juega el partido (ver imágenes)
• USOS DE IAS: Está terminantemente prohibido el uso de cualquier software que pueda ayudar al momento de jugar. En caso de sospecha, un tribunal podrá analizar las partidas y la Comisión determinará la sanción correspondiente si se verifica la infracción.
• Apelamos al juego limpio y a la buena fe de todas, manteniendo el espíritu con el que planeamos el evento.
• Está terminantemente prohibido cualquier ayuda externa a los jugadores.
• No está permitido deshacer (undo) una jugada, ni siquiera en caso de obvios miss-clicks.
• En caso de desconexión la jugadora tendrá hasta 5 minutos para retomar la partida. Pasados los mismos, el servidor dará por perdida la partida automáticamente.
• Tiempo de espera para comenzar cada ronda: 15 minutos. Pasados los mismos se dará como perdida la partida para quien no se presentó a tiempo.

• Round 1: Saturday 8/10 at 09:00 a.m.
• Round 2: Saturday 8/10 at 1:30 p.m.
• Round 3: Sunday 9/10 at 09:00 a.m.
• Round 4: Sunday 9/10 at 1:30 p.m.
• Round 5: Monday 10/10 at 09:00 a.m.
• Round 6: Monday 10/10 at 1:30 p.m.

Competition system

• The McMahon system will be used in this tournament. The number of groups will depend on the number of participants that register.

• The rank must correspond to the one you have in your country or otherwise indicate your rank on OGS or KGS (whichever reflects best your level of play).

How to find the Pairings and the Standings Info

• The pairings for the first, third and fifth rounds will appear on this page one hour before the start of the round. The pairings will also appear on a screen and/or a whiteboard in the Mediterranean Room of the COM building where the Congress is being held. An effort will also be made to send it by WhatsApp.
• The pairings for the second, fourth and sixth rounds will appear as soon as all the results of the first, third and fifth rounds respectively have been entered.
• Please check the list of pairings to know who plays black and who plays white.
• Please check the list of pairings to know on which board your game will be played.
• The Standings Info will be made available after each round once all results have been entered for the round. The StandingsInfo will also appear on a screen and/or whiteboard in the Mediterranean Room of the COM building.

Once your game is finished, you must complete and sign the Result slip of paper that you will be handed before the game begins. Once the Result slip of paper has been completed and signed by both players, the winner of the game must deliver it to the TD or one of his assistants.  

Tournament Conditions

• Open to all players, of any nationality.
• The Championship is played over 6 rounds using the McMahon system.
• Game time: 60 minutes per player of main time and Canadian byo-yomi of 20 stones in 10 minutes.
• Japanese rules. Games without handicap, with a komi of 6.5 for white.
• Maximum tolerance time: 15 minutes. Players who do not show up within 15 minutes of the round start time will automatically forfeit the game for that round.
• It is strictly forbidden to use Leela (or any other AI) during the course of the match.

Bye (IMPORTANT)

If a person is confirmed in the list of participants and, for some last minute reason, is not going to be able to participate in the Tournament, please inform the TD before 8:00 p.m. (GMT -3) on Friday, October 7. If the notification is not made and the participant does not appear for the first round, he/she will automatically be disqualified from the tournament.

GENERAL INFORMATION 

These tournaments are aimed at players who have not reached 18 years of age at the time of the 4th. Latin American Go Congress, who were born or reside in any Latin American country and who have the endorsement of any FIG school, academy, club, federation or member association. In case of not having an endorsement, the organizers may request documentation to verify identity.

Players must be registered by an adult who is responsible for the player's participation. The adult must accompany the youngster in person during the tournament.

In principle, the following tournaments will be played:

• 4th Latin-American Youth Go Championship (U-18) - Board size 19x19 
• Promotional Youth Tournament (U-18) - Board size 9x9

Date and time: 

• These tournaments will be played on Friday 7 from 2PM to 8PM.

  Las jugadoras podrán levantarse y retirarse de la computadora normalmente para ir al baño, comer o tomar algo, tomar aire.
